Sarakaba Pungga Ja Li Fellowship

Learn and Build Our Society Together!

Sarakaba Pungga Ja Li was a Kachin oral historian and an author of more than 30 books on oral history and stories such as Joiwa, Hkringwa, Dumsa and Lanyi. This Scholarship will be awarded to honour his literary contribution for Kachin Studies. Students who are applying for the Diploma of Kachin Studies Programme at the Kachinland School of Arts and Sciences are eligible for this Scholarship. Students will have opportunity to work together with professors from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) of the University of London for preservation of Kachin heritage.
