Together We Learn, We Work for Cohesive Society! In order to foster social cohesion among diverse youths, scholarships are provided to enable students from different ethnic, linguistic, geographical and religious backgrounds to study at Kachinland College.
The scholarships are awarded by the partnership of respective community committees in Kachin State, Shan State, Naga Self-Administered Zone, north-east Sagaing Region. The students are able to join education programmes at Kachinland College that are relevant for them. Through this, a culture exchange occurs among the students, of languages, cultures, and histories. Together, they receive human rights, photography, and advocacy trainings. On every Saturday, students reach out to different communities as volunteer teachers or community workers as life story collectors.
